THE ROBIN AND THE UNICORN

The Sunday Muse #87

Thank you Carrie for this challenging prompt.
Let's see if I can do it justice.

Hold on my feathered friend
For I will take you to a winter wonderland.
Nest close within my bushy mane
Whilst we soar beneath those twinkling stars
On eagles wings, spread in power and might.
Hold on my friend to your fiery steed,
For I am your friend the unicorn
Of fable since the dawn of time.
I come to worthy creatures and bless those who see me.
I sprinkle snow crystals on those I love
And take us to a promised land of milk and honey
And worms for you, my dear, in plenty.

    1. Thank you Az and so lovely to see you here.

I am ok thanks but hate this depressing weather and long to be outside in the warmth and sun again. I semi hibernate in winter and long to fire on more than one cylinder and get out of first gear.

Hope you are ok, I am coming to see you so put on the kettle.

    1. Thanks Carrie. Had to think about this one for a while and then the idea gelled in my subconscious. It often works like that. Great prompt.
