In this life there are good times and bad, right and wrong, periods of elation and periods of depression. Yet sometimes we are fortunate to live a 'shade of grey', somewhere in between.

I WONDER WHAT SHE'LL BE LIKE IN TWO YEARS
I visited my grand daughter, Rosa Florence, this afternoon.
She is doing very well and is settling into a routine of feeding, sleeping and a fair amount of consciousness with her little eyes looking round at noises. She has more than regained her birth weight.
She is 15 days old today:
. . . . and here is baby Peter aged about 2 weeks. By that time he already had his first photo shoot . . .
. . . and another one with his eyes open . . . .
Hello Buster
. . . . and Rosa with her eyes open . .
. . . and here is Peter now at 23 months . . . .
I wonder what Rosa will look like at 23 months?
Peter, you'd better get the hang of that camera and by then we'll find out . . .
Time will tell.

Hi Linda . . . and thank you . .
ReplyDeleteYes my heart melts when I see her, as do her Mum and Dad's. They are totally mesmerised by her and watch her for hours on end . . . lol. I can understand why. Her grandmother is going away on holiday to France with her youngest son and family and she says she can't wait to get back to see her . . lol
Peter's Mum is holding onto the camera strap. . . lol
Yes I count myself most fortunate .... :) Cheers, Eddie :)
Wonderful photos.

Oh little Rosa is so precious! And I'm sure she'll be even more precious when she's 23 months, just a little bigger. LOL You are so blessed! Congrats to all! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHello Nanna Marguerite . . lol
DeleteYes we are indeed blessed with two beautiful grandchildren and mesmerised by Rosa right now ~ we could watch her for hours . . :)
Hi Eddie - lovely photos and I'm so glad Rosa has recovered and now looks so healthy .. and with golden curls - she'll be breaking everyone's hearts ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThank you Hilary ~ not sure whether she will have golden curls, I think that comes from Peter's mother ~ not sure what colour her hair will be ~ her mother is auburn and her dad is dark brown ~ will have to see . . . but I have a feeling she will break a few hearts . . . :)
DeleteI can see that you'll be posting lots of pics of pretty Rosa as she grows up. How is Peter enjoying having a baby cousin to visit? She's too little to play with right now. My grandchildren who are cousins to each other get very excited when a visit is planned. In fact, this weekend is a "cousins" weekend, culminating in a big family brekky on Sunday. I'll need a snooze on Sunday afternoon when they all go home!
ReplyDeleteHi 'Sham' , , , yes I think you are right.
DeletePeter has seen Rosa just once and he remarked accurately, "Baby" . . . lol. but did not dwell to much on their new found relationship since she did/could not respond to any of his questions. albeit in toddler language . . lol
Nice that you are enjoying your grandchildren.
We too have a monthly breakfast at a nearby Harvester Restaurant, and next time little Rosa will come along to make a big party.
Talking of cousins, my cousin Rodney, six months older than me, remains my best friend even to this day and even though we live 180 miles apart. He used to visit us for the holidays when we were boys . . . :)
Enjoy them at the ages that they are!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo very different little babies ..... both unique and beautiful.
You are lucky to have them close by for you to enjoy.
Lots of love to all the family.......
Maggie x
Hi big sister! . . . x
DeleteYou are right of course that we enjoy them whatever their age.
I thought they looked a little similar . . :)
Yes, were are lucky they are both nearby . . . it would be awful if they were on the other side of the world . . . :) x
15 days old... How about that, Eddie? It's been a couple of weeks since we were 15 days old ourselves, wouldn't you say, my friend? Well, all I know is that she will look wonderful. Just... wonderful. :))
ReplyDeleteJust think, Blue, you were 15 days old once . . . and even I was . . . lol . . . . and even Methuselah was . . lol.
DeleteYes I think she will and you should know, Blueboy, you have an eye for a pretty lady . . :)
